Brooke E. Fields is a sturdily built female of French descent. She stands at roughly 5’7”, and weighs in around 158 lbs consistently. Brooke’s notable facial features include brown hair, typically tied up in a bun, green eyes, and ephelides freckles covering the mid-section of her face. Her skin is quite fair, and does not tan easily, usually resulting in a sunburn rather than a darker tone when exposed to sun for an extended period of time.

While on-duty, Brooke can typically be found to wear a dark blue long-sleeve combat shirt and either dark gray or black combat pants. She usually operates using a more top-heavy ballistic vest similar to that used by the French gendarmerie. Off-duty, Brooke will typically resort to more casual wear, generally consisting of plain colored t-shirts matched with either jeans or sweatpants. Oddly, Brooke seems to take issue with the way her face and hands look despite no evident flaws, and opts to cover them up when possible. In most cases, this means that she is found wearing a pair of touch-screen compatible gloves as well as a black neck gaiter pulled over the lower half of her face, even when off-duty.

Brooke Fields is a notably outgoing and open minded person in general. Most who have engaged in social interactions with her have noted her to be friendly, a good conversationalist, and incredibly caring. Some have even considered her to be motherly in nature, despite her lack of children, or even pets. Brooke has been observed to take on the role of mediator when it comes to verbal disagreements, but found to be incredibly strict when she is being actively ignored.

Operationally, Brooke is noted to be incredibly goal oriented and intuitive. She has been observed to be incredibly good at working in groups, which made her a good selection for the START Special Directive.

Unfortunately, Brooke does struggle to some degree with her mental image. While she does handle operational criticisms well, and can adapt accordingly, criticisms related to her physical appearance seem to be socially debilitating. This includes both negative comments towards her appearance, as well as positive ones.

Strengths:
Teamwork - Brooke is incredibly good at working in groups, and finds it easy to communicate and work together with other people, including those that she is unfamiliar with.

Uplifting - In a sort of caretaker way, Brooke seems to have the uncanny ability to always keep a situationally positive attitude, which in turn also uplifts the mental fortitude of those around her.

Open-Minded - Brooke is quite curious, and an incredibly fast-learner. She is known to be very open to criticisms on the way she operates, and can conform to necessary changes in behavior or action quickly.

Self Image - Brooke has been noted to have self-image issues, generally resulting in a sense of body and facial dysmorphia, despite being fairly attractive in a modern sense.

Dependency - Brooke is known to be fairly dependent on other people, which results in a failure to facilitate a sense of self-worth on her own, and typically feel helpless when alone.

1995 - 2013: Early Life
On February 2nd, 1995, Brooke Fields was born to Ethan and Marcia Fields in Lyon, France. Her father, Ethan Fields, was a Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) Firefighter and her mother, Marcia Fields, a Brazilian CBRN Specialist. Suffice to say, Brooke found herself in a family who had long been in the line of service to their country, and she would be brought up the same way. Brooke would attend elementary, middle, and high school within the city of Lyon. Immediately after high school, Brooke would go through basic police training, and shortly after would become a full-fledged police officer within Lyon. As she served as an officer, she would also begin the application process of the “École des officiers de la gendarmerie nationale”, or “National Gendarmerie Officers' Academy”, which consisted of rigorous exams, interviews, and physical tests. Upon completion, Brooke would find herself admitted to the college and began her two year officer training.

2015 - 2021: The Gendarmerie
Following graduation from the Officer’s Academy, Brooke would officially enlist into the French National Gendarmerie, one of the two major law enforcement branches in France. Not too long following her enlistment, Brooke would take and pass the Gendarmerie NCO Exam, and would officially become a Non-Commissioned Officer within the National Gendarmerie, an impressive feat for a female who was only twenty-one years old by this point. With a strong sense of confidence in her capabilities, Brooke would voluntarily offer herself for Special Forces selection. However, it would take a full four years before Brooke finally found herself selected for the “Groupe d'intervention de la Gendarmerie nationale”, or GIGN. Being selected, however, did not mean immediate entry, and she would find herself in an eight month long training course alongside other GIGN recruits, fighting to avoid being eliminated from selection. At the end of the course, though, Brooke Fields would officially join the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group, an elite French Counter-Terrorism Unit, at twenty-six years old.

2022 - Present Day: American Citizenship
Unfortunately for Brooke, it wouldn’t be long before her parents had finally become unwilling to deal with the socio-political scene within France, and decided to find solace in the United States. Brooke, being a very dependent person, was not ready to be alone in France, and opted to give up all she had worked for in her home country to join her family in the states, specifically in Portland, Maine. However, this did not stop her desire to serve, and she would immediately pursue a job with the Federal Bureau of Investigation upon gaining U.S. Citizenship, hoping to eventually join the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). Despite her incredibly impressive career in France, however, Brooke was directed to join the FBI’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team in Portland, Maine instead. During her time serving with SWAT, a high-ranked member of her team attempted to make romantic and sexual advancements towards her, all of which were shut down by Brooke. This, however, did not lead to a good relationship with the rest of her team, and the reputation that the high-ranked member had fabricated for her eventually landed her in the FBI’s Unusual Incidents Unit, a less-than optimal position. In a stroke of good luck, though, Brooke’s experience both with the French GIGN and the unfortunate time with her FBI SWAT team was analyzed and determined to be an operative who showed extreme levels of excellence, something which tends to be a rare sight in the Unusual Incidents Unit. Given her level of experience, despite her short time with the UIU, Brooke was selected for Special Directive #2023-0018, the “Supernatural Threat Assessment and Response Team” or S.T.A.R.T. As of now, Brooke serves with the START Mobile Occult Coalition Team for the UIU.

Roleplay Sample: “Concussion”

Brooke was slumped in the corner, holding her head as the ringing in her ears threatened a migraine. Something had gone wrong… but her head was too fuzzy to remember. Let’s see… where was she? The wall she was up against felt like that of drywall, and a bed was barely visible through the darkness that consumed her vision. An apartment bedroom, perhaps? She groaned, adjusting her body upwards slightly, a burning sensation making itself known in her arm as she used it to push herself upwards. Her eyes made their way to the arm, which seemed to be covered in blood. Fuck, something went really wrong.

Suddenly, a voice pierced through the ringing, although it sounded as if somebody was trying to talk to her through a jar. The agent blinked, clearing her vision slightly to see a figure knelt down in front of her. Her arm was suddenly given a new feeling, something had been cinched tight just above where the burning sensation had seemingly originated from. A tourniquet? Brooke blinked again, her mind less fuzzy now, and was able to make out the clear figure of Hugo, one of her fellow GIGN operatives. The man put out his hand, and she grasped it with her other arm.

The operative pulled her to her feet, and Brooke's head was thrust back into reality. Tripwire. Their pointman, Darwin, had breached the door, setting off an explosive which sent her flying back into the wall and slammed her head.

Shit. Darwin was always a good guy. The woman raised her HK416, now positioned behind Hugo with a hand on his shoulder.
