Angel's Journal Entry
"Heeth was one of the first planets to see Helldiver deployment during the start of the Second Galactic War, alongside Angel's Venture. It's quite cold here, of course, but the really interesting thing is the remnants that still remain here this long after the end of the First Galactic War. Namely, Hellbombs. We've all been alerted to the fact that as we fight on the frontier, we'll find ourselves running into hellbombs that have failed to detonate. For some, it's quite obvious that the terminals were simply never activated, resulting in an active explosive being left behind. On Heeth, though, it seems to me that some of these hellbombs have actually frozen over entirely. In fact, I've even had one of my own hellbombs freeze over mid-detonation. It seems that the cold is somehow able to freeze the detonation pin in place before the hellbomb can actually cook off. Luckily, in most cases, it seems that a violent enough shake is strong enough to either activate the internal elements, or simply shake the detonation pin loose enough to activate the bomb. Of course, in those cases, the detonation takes place significantly quicker than those needing terminal activation, so everyone should be sure to be within minimum safe distance before trying to use something like a bullet, laser, or strategem to set one off. As a note that I'd like to submit to our SEAF R&D Scientists, maybe it's time we take a closer look at the detonation pin so we can avoid issues like this in the future?"
